Hospital de la Caridad

I know I'm going to say this over and over again....but this place was my favorite so far in Spain. We were a bit confused when we got there because all we saw was a plaza, but upon exploring we found an old staircase that led to one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. For the entire time I was there, I was in awe of the beauty that surrounded me. I hope this pictures help to show you how incredible it was...but I don't feel it does the church justice. Enjoy...

Some gardens where we could hear nuns singing...I think they were nuns.

After walking around the gardens we found a door to enter the church, and this is what we saw...

Increíble verdad!?
Incredible right!?

El techo de la iglesia
The ceiling of the church

....simplemente hermoso.
Simply gorgeous/astounding/beautiful

It's so life-like...kind of eerie.

Parecen de verdad, no?
They look real, right?

All around the church there were angels carrying the sculptures and decor on their shoulders.

Alpha y Omega

El techo casi entero
Almost the entire ceiling

Mi favorito estatuo
My favorite statue

El angelito esta llorando
The angel is crying :(

The angel visiting the Virgin Mary..

Increíble....estoy tratando de practicar mi español! Gracias por mirar a mis fotos!
Incredible....I'm trying to practice my Spanish! Thanks so much for looking at my pictures!
